Autotranslate not possible

Post by Thomas J. »

Hello support,
I want to translate my SIB file. Before I created with your String Wizard the stringlist out of a dfm file.
Now I have more then 1700 strings which has to be translated.
- I open the TsiLang Expert (VCL Edition)
- open the form with all the const strings in
- press the right button (Auto translate)

MessageBox come up with
"Unzulässige Parameteranzahl"
"Invalid number of parameter"

Which parameter and where and what can I do?

Thanks for your help
Thomas

I use the version 6.1

Hello,

It looks like something is used from older version either Dictionary Manager or TsiLang run-time package. Please be sure you have only one instance of TsiLang packages and Dictionary Manager is the latest available from our web-site (or included into version 6.1 setup).
Best regards,
Igor Siticov.

I installed the newest version without removing the version (6.0) before.
Is that the problem?

Yes, this is a problem. It looks like there was left BPL file from older version and it gets loaded into IDE instead of newer one. Please uninstall all and install fresh newer version.
Please let me know if this helps.

I could only uninstall the current verison 6.1 which I did. (Under Software only version 6.1 I could see)
But after installing I got the same problem again with "hanging"/ 90%CPU usage.

Do you mean that after removing older version and all older files; and installing latest version you still get "Invalid parameter" error?
Or when do you have 90% CPU load?

I don't know in which directories your files are installed. I install your component always in the same directory and this one was deleted before starting the new installation.
And, yes the CPU usage is still by 90% if I click on my SIB file

It is strange but try to locate SiExt.dll file in TsiLang folder and just delete it.

Yes I uninstalled
- directory was completly removed
- installed again
- same problem by clicking on my SIB file
- renamed the file SiExt.dll
- clicked on the file again and CPU usage normal

Is this dll not needed?

This DLL is just explorer's extension and show additional details in Explorer on SIL and SIB files.
