Hi all,

Am i missing something here?

What is the point of the default fonts when if you add a language (which is listed in the default fonts) to a sib file and then you have to go through every form setting the charset and font!

This is taking me ages adding 8 new languages to my file and then having to set the charset & font for each form.

Am i doing something wrong?

Hi,

You can add languages at design-time in Dispatcher and then just open Translations Editor for all forms one-by-one and it will populate default fonts and charsets automatically upon opening.

Erm, ok, so i have the TsiLang Files Editor open (editing my sib file) and I go to 'Tools' - 'Default Fonts'. I then add 'Croatian' and set its font and charset.

I then open 'Tools' - 'Add Language' and enter 'Croatian'. If i then browse to any of the forms and select font or charset, the Croatian column at the end is not automatically populated with the default font settings.

Any ideas?

Yes, currently there is no such functionality in SIL Editor. We will try to add it in next update. Auto-completion of Fonts and Charsets works only in design-time when you open Translation Editor in Delphi/C++Builder.

And even then its flacky.

Ive tried doing it that way, and if you add multiple languages it only auto populates the first one you add, then when you remove a language that you added along with the auto populated one, it blows out the changes it made to the auto populated one.
