SIL File Editor and Save As .SIB

Hi Guys,

I have my translations stored in a .SIL format file, and now want to save them to .SIB

I was told (by Serghi) a while back that I just had to use the Save As file menu and select .SIB format, however, .SIB does not appear in the version of the .SIL Editor I am using (2.5.1.200). :?:

Do I have the latest version of the .SIL Editor, or is this a known bug.

BTW, I know I can create an empty .SIB and then import the .SIL file, but I think the more direct method of Save As should be supported.

Best regards

Steve

Hi Igor,

This was announced as a new feature of 5.2.3, but does not seem to have been included (my new SIL File Editor version is 2.8.0.302)

Best regards

Hi Igor,

I think I can see what the problem may be .. the file RT.SIL (dated 13 May 2003) contains the following string ..

"TsiLang files (*.sil)|*.sil|All files (*.*)|*.*" for

TsiTransEditFrm.sdSave.Filter, .. the .SIB filter is missing

Best regards

Hi again,

Have just found I am able to export to .SIB from .SIL (thought it would be under the Save As menu item)

Best regards
