Accessing remote windows scheduler

Post by sebapelhan »

Hi,

how can I connect to remote windows scheduler? With command \\machinename I cannot view Task Scheduler. But shares are visible.

Any suggestions?

Yes of corse. I get access denied.

I think the real problem is that I cannot view remote task scheduler, so the components cannot access it...

How must I configure remote computer? Both computers are in the same workgroup and have the same admin pass (suggestion found on google), but no change.

1. You must have the same user name and password on remote PC as your current user data on your PC.
2. This user on remote PC must have admin rights.
3. Remote Registry service on target computer must be running.
To easily check if you're able to create remote tasks you can just open remote PC in through network using Windows Explorer and if see Tasks folder and have access to it.

You also can find some details here:

Solved.

Open Windows Explorer,
go to Tools/Folder Options/View
and uncheck Use simple file sharing.

Stupid MS
