Another regression in SilEditor 5.2.0.28

Post by Jean-Paul Brassard »

With SilEditor 5.2.0.28, if I export a SIB to a SIL file, a three characters garbage line is added at the beginning of the file.
That line shows as "".
Hex codes added at the beginning of the file, including <eol> is:
"EFBBBF0D0A".

With previous version 5.1.0.13 of SilEditor, that bug does not exist.

I think this is not a "regression" but "as designed". This is a UTF file mark in order to let 2009+ IDE to know they are loading UTF file when you have selected store as UTF. This mark doesn't reflect to earlier Delphi versions so there is no any corruption.
Best regards,
Igor Siticov.

Thanks,

Not a big deal anyway as we only use the SIL as archive in VSS.
