Hello,

We recently started using Delphi2010 and we ordered the latest siComponents package (6.5.0.2) for it.

But for some time (until we migrate the entire code) we will still support the old code build with Delphi 7 and siComponents 3.X.

Is it possible to install the new siComponents package (6.5) only on D2010 and leave the D7 with 6.3?

Can we use 2 siComponents versions in the same time on the same machine?

If not, is there any possible bad surprises if the new siComponents (6.5) gets installed in D7 too?

Hello,

You can install 2 versions on same PC, just be sure to use different target folders. While installing you can always select which IDE to support with this install.
Also version 6.5 works with Delphi 7 as well
