Hi all,
to put it as simple as i can: the processing of the const-section can be improved Wink i hope that you can help me with this:

what i have:
const
CONST_EMPTYSTR = '';
CONST_SHORTDATEFORMAT = 'dd.MM.yyyy';
CONST_DATESEPERATOR = '.';
CONST_SPACE = ' ';
CONST_HOCH = '''';
CONST_KOMMA = ',';
CONST_HOCHKOMMA = CONST_HOCH + CONST_KOMMA;
CONST_GLEICH = '=';
CONST_T = 'T';
CONST_CRLF = #13#10;
CONST_PLURAL = 'n';
CONST_FIELD_ACTTABSHEET = 'ActTabSheet';
CONST_FRMSTOR_TRANSPARENCY = 'Transparency';

what i get:
const
CONST_EMPTYSTR = '';
CONST_SHORTDATEFORMAT: string = 'dd.MM.yyyy'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_DATESEPERATOR = '.';
CONST_SPACE = ' ';
CONST_HOCH = '''';
CONST_KOMMA = ',';
CONST_HOCHKOMMA = CONST_HOCH + CONST_KOMMA;
CONST_GLEICH = '=';
CONST_T: string = 'T'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_CRLF = #13#10;
CONST_PLURAL: string = 'n'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_FIELD_ACTTABSHEET: string = 'ActTabSheet'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_FRMSTOR_TRANSPARENCY: string = 'Transparency'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)

what i would like to see:
const
CONST_EMPTYSTR : string = '';
CONST_SHORTDATEFORMAT: string = 'dd.MM.yyyy'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_DATESEPERATOR : string = '.';
CONST_SPACE : string = ' ';
CONST_HOCH : string = '''';
CONST_KOMMA : string = ',';
CONST_HOCHKOMMA : string = ''',';
CONST_GLEICH : string = '=';
CONST_T: string = 'T'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_CRLF : string = #13#10;
CONST_PLURAL: string = 'n'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_FIELD_ACTTABSHEET: string = 'ActTabSheet'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)
CONST_FRMSTOR_TRANSPARENCY: string = 'Transparency'; // TSI: Localized (Don't modify!)

Thanks for reading this and any answers you come up with,
Greetings, Wolfgang

Hi,

TsiLang Expert doesn't modify strings (constants) that are not affected by translation. So the only way for you would be to make the needed modifications by hands and organize (arrange) your code as you wish.
Hope this helps.

isitcov,

No it does not help. However, i was afraid that you would say something like this and made it already so.

You say: strings that are not affected by translation ...
Q: how do you determine whether a string is affected or not?

Best wishes,
Wolfgang

These are the strings that not "touched" by TsiLang Expert. For example: empty strings; strings that may apply for any rule in TsiLang Expert Options (Exclude & Skip tab).
