TMainMenu and Chinese

Post by Phoner »

Hello,

I am using Delphi2009 on a German Windows XP and Windows 7. My application has some built in languages using TsiLang components. There are no problems in displaying Russian strings for example. But now I have problems with Simplified Chinese. There are no problems with buttons, labels and so on, but with TMainMenu. The menu items are displayed incorrectly on XP and nearly correct with Windows 7 (there is a letter in brackets behind all strings).

Is this a well known problem or do I have to set something different? I found no way to set a CHARSET for menus.

Hello,
Do you have installed support for Far East languages in your OS?
Best regards,
Igor Siticov.

No, it was not installed.
It was not clear to me that everything works except menus.
I installed it and it works now :)
