Hi

Is it possible to install the latest version into D2009?

I tried running the setup.exe and it reports no errors.
However, the design package is listed but unchecked in the IDE Install Packages dialog.
Attempting to check it generates an error about missing bpl.
Attempting to compile/install the .dpk fails with the following error message:

---------------------------
bds.exe - Entry Point Not Found
---------------------------
The procedure entry point @Sysutils@StringReplace$qqrx20System@UnicodeStringt1t149System@%Set$t21Sysutils@SysUtils__15$iuc$0$iuc$1% could not be located in the dynamic link library rtl120.bpl.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Am I doing something wrong .. or .. ?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. When re-building it looks like you didn't re-build run-time package. Please be sure to re-built TsiLang_2009r.dproj and to delete TsiLang_2009r.bpl from Windows\System32 before this. After re-building run-time package rebuild design-time package TsiLang_2009.dproj and install it.
Additionally, you can wait few days and we will publish updated version.

Still having problems after an uninstall, chack for any leftovers (none) install and building as advised. The design fails to Build.

As I am just playing, identifying and waiting for 3rd pary stuff I think I will wait..

Hi

Now installed! My first program is now fully D2009.

The only thing that sisetup did not do was to 'check' the package in the list of Design packages. That may be by design?

Many thanks. I hope not to report any problems. Very Happy

It strange and this was reported once before but we're unable to find a reason for this yet. Sad
