Post Installation TSilang_D2006.bpl not found

Post by Shaun »

When I run the BDE, Delphi indicates that ....\Units\BDS 2006\Tsilang_D2006.bpl cannot be found, the next dialog indicates that Tsilang_D2006r cannot be found. I have removed and reinstalled a couple of times to no effect. I include my path at the end of this note as I have noted others with this issue had an incorrect path. Once in the BDE I can remove and re-install the library from the component list and it works fine, until I restart Delphi...... any ideas plz :?

My path

C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\BDS 2006;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\CBuilder6;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\CBuilder5;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\CBuilder4;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\Delphi8;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\Delphi7;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\Delphi6;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\Delphi5;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\Delphi4;C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\BDS 2006\C++;C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\Delphi5\Projects\Bpl;C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\Delphi5\Bin;C:\Program Files\Intraweb 8.0\LibBDS4;C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\;C:\Program Files\Borland\BDS\4.0\Bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 9\win32;C:\Program Files\RemObjects Software\Everwood\Bin;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 2005\Lib;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 2005\Bin;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 2005 R2\Lib;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 2005 R2\Bin;C:\Program Files\Borland\CaliberRM SDK 2005 R2\lib;C:\Program Files\RemObjects Software\RemObjects SDK for Delphi\Dcu\D10;C:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\win32;C:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 9\drivers;C:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\PowerBuilder;C:\Program Files\Sybase\InfoMaker 9.0\Tutorial;C:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\Sybase Central 4.3\win32;c:\program files\windows resource kits\tools

Do you have TsiLang BPL files under "C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units\BDS 2006" folder?

It is strange.:( Then I would suggest just copy TsiLang BPLs into "C:\Program Files\Borland\BDS\4.0\Bin".
