Unfortunately, we could not find resolution with components. Temporarly we used some application to use admin rights. This is not acceptable for customer. In future we will decide to wait for new solutions of SiComponents or go with other components.

Hope to see solution soon. :?

Update: if we use client application as domain administrator it works ok. Could you please tell me what rights must user have enabled?
We checked other posts but without success.

Thanks in advance.

We tried with local and administrator rights. But the same problem exists. To point out: - server is win 2003 (scheduler) - client is Vista (access from XP woks ok with the same user that is created on server - admin rights) Any other ideas? I think this should work even if we do not use domain users.

Access denied in Vista

Components work great on windows xp.

But recently we installed the same app on Vista, server that runs tasks is the same windows 2003 server.

App even works on test PC with Vista as long is not in domain.

Any advices would be great.

Yes of corse. I get access denied.

I think the real problem is that I cannot view remote task scheduler, so the components cannot access it...

How must I configure remote computer? Both computers are in the same workgroup and have the same admin pass (suggestion found on google), but no change.

Any suggestions?
